I would like to introduce to you Nancy J. Parra

Meet Nancy J. Parra a writer of Romantic Suspense and Sweet Western Historical Romances. Hailed as a rising star of Romantic fiction, she holds a Bachelor's degree in journalism but turned to writing fiction when she discovered it was more fun to interview the people in her head.

And, here is what Nancy had for us when I invited her to the blog:

Hi J.K., thank you so much for inviting me to visit your blog. I enjoy meeting and getting to know writers and readers. I have written two series of western historical romances with Avalon books: The Morgan Brother’s series and the Morgan Family series, which can be found in libraries across the United States and at any on-line bookstore- even Walmart. These are fun, sweet historical romances. Titles and reviews can be found on my website at http://www.nancyjparra.com/.

More recently I’ve written a couple of contemporary romantic suspense books. Mr. Charming, is my latest. It is the tale of a single mom trying to make it in the suburbs and a playboy with a murderer out to get him. Available in paperback and e-format, this book was on the Wild Rose Press bestseller list for four weeks straight. It’s gotten some very nice reviews.

My next book is out in early January 2010. Dream Man is a more complicated romantic suspense where an FBI agent’s dreams of murder appear destine to come true.I enjoy sharing writing tips, giving seminars and workshops on genre writing. I have a craft blog for writers that I update every Sunday at http://www.nancyjparra.blogspot.com/ and a daily blog on my website where I chat about whatever comes to mind that day.

Please feel free to visit me there any time. I thought I would leave you with these words of wisdom for artists of all kinds: Always believe in yourself, practice your craft and know that worth is never truly measured in dollars but in the hearts and minds of the people you touch
